Background

OLEOCHEMICALS

Are derived from naturally occurring fats and oils from vegetable and animal sources.

Background

OLEOCHEMICALS

Primary process, converting animal and vegetable oils to oleochemicals is hydrolysis.

Background

OLEOCHEMICALS

Such derivatives include fatty acids, fatty alcohols, glycerine, and fatty methyl esters.

What are.?

OLEOCHEMICALS

Oleochemical substances are composed of vegetable and animal fats and oils and/or petrochemical raw materials, where fatty acids are the most important oleochemicals derived from animal and vegetable oils and fats.

The most important transformation process of animal and vegetable oils and fats into oleochemicals is hydrolysis, the separation of natural triglycerides into crude glycerin and mixed crude fatty acids, under the influence of water, temperature and pressure.
